From the bride’s sweet ballet flats to the textured white bouquets, everything about this ceremony feels elegant, refined, and inviting. Set on a “perfect” day at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, the intimate family affair (Elisha’s stepfather officiated) took place outdoors by the hotel fountain, which was turned on moments after they exchanged vows. Michelle Warren was on hand to capture the magic, and we’re thrilled to share her lovely images today."

David and Elisha met while attending church with their grandparents in Los Angeles. Post-college plans sent him to north to Canada and her to the East Coast, and the pair didn’t reconnect until Elisha’s last year of medical school in DC. But, even after they made their separate ways back to LA, it took ten more years of life’s ups and downs to get them to the altar (sweet side note: David says he always knew they’d wind up together). “I have never met anyone who I feel more comfortable with,” says Elisha now of her husband. “We love loving each other!”

The color palette was inspired by the newlyweds’ favorite shades—chocolate brown for Elisha, and pops of peach and orange in honor of David’s favorite sports team (go San Francisco Giants!). Simple, springy ivory blooms complimented the lush table linens, gilded gold chairs, and mint green wedding cake. Our favorite detail, though, was a sentimental nod to the couple’s long history: each table number was accompanied by a photo from their past (like the adorable shot below). maxwangerblog.com - "carmel-by-the-sea is one of the more beautiful places on earth. and if you haven’t driven along 17-mile drive, through the trees and along the coast, past pebble beach and the lone cypress… you’re missing out. it’s worth doing at least once. lorena and george had their wedding at an amazing house where it literally felt like you were on top of the world. the house sits a couple of miles up a windy road, high above carmel, where you find yourself looking down on the monterey peninsula, with views all the way to santa cruz. the ceremony couldn’t have been more picturesque. lorena and george were wonderful and we were able to take some really nice portraits after the ceremony down by the water. it was a beautiful day and an even more beautiful wedding."

melissadunstan.blogspot.com - "The beautiful bride got ready at the hotel and had her make done by the fabulous artist Christine Morris Assalone from Full Circle. Samantha looked flawless! Samantha's "something old" was this gorgeous pearl necklace that was her mothers. Her mother picked out every pearl by hand while on a trip to Hong Kong. Pretty special!"

melissadunstan.blogspot.com - "The hotel is located in the heart of Aspen and is adjacent to the gondola that takes you up to the beautiful Sundeck and Aspen Mountain Club. The gondola ride was definetly a highlight! Samantha put her dress on and got the finishing touches done in the wine cellar at the Aspen Mountain Club.

All the guests traveled up the gondola to the wedding at 11,200 ft! The view from the gondola is even spectacular! The boys got ready pretty fast so we had time to stop by the Little Nell bar before the gondola ride. Stephen and the groomsmen looking dapper before the ride up the mountain! Congratulations Samantha & Stephen. Drink of choice, Colorado Whiskey! Cheers!"
